The launch of Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM) brought together a multidisciplinary group of creative and cultural partners to establish the museum’s identity, digital presence, curatorial framework, and cultural programming. Designed by Kengo Kuma and located in Eskişehir, Turkey, OMM was conceived as a new platform for modern and contemporary art within the region. The project developed the museum’s public-facing vision across architecture, communications, and creative collaboration, culminating in its recognition as International Project of the Year at the 2020 Museums + Heritage Awards.
Kengo Kuma reimagines the traditional wooden houses of Odunpazarı as a contemporary cultural landmark.
Winner: International Project of the Year at the 2020 Museums + Heritage Awards.
